We offer a range of courses on willow-working throughout the year.

One-day Basket-making:

This popular course is for beginners and improvers – you will make and bring home your very own ‘skib’ basket on the day. The course is one full-day, from 9am to 5-ish. The price includes all material, tuition, lunch and cake! This course costs €100 and takes place at weekends in Glendalough.

Willow Scarecrow Workshop:

This two-day course is for all levels, from beginners to experienced weavers – you will build and bring home a large scarecrow using a series of beautiful weaving techniques. The course takes two days, from 9 to 5-ish. The price includes all materials and tuition – lunch is not provided. This course cost €199 and take place in Glendalough and the National Botanic Gardens.

Willow Sculpture Workshop:

This two-day course is for all levels, from beginners to experienced weavers – you will build and bring home a large animal sculpture, or other creation of your choice using a series of beautiful weaving techniques. The course takes two days, from 9 to 5. The price includes all materials, tuition, lunch and cake! This course cost €199 and takes place in Glendalough.

Gazebo in Your Garden:

Courses sizes are strictly limited and are held in the Brockagh Centre in lovely Glendalough unless otherwise advised.
Specific dates, including weekdays, can be made available for group bookings.
